I have a Sprint HTC Touch and am very happy with it. It's a very capable Windows Mobile 6 device. It's no iPhone, but it's not pretending to be one either. It's smaller and lighter than an iPhone and fits comfortably in your pocket.

If you have a Touch, do yourself a favor and download S2U2 (slide to unlock version 2). It's an application that requires you to, well, slide your finger across the screen to unlock the phone (ok, just like an iPhone). Why? How many times have you reached into your pocket to get the phone out and found that you've accidentally pressed the power button and are running some random app? There is also a setting that locks the phone when you place a call (so you don't run apps when you press the phone to your ear).

I also found a forum that shows you how to hack the Touch to upgrade the radio to Rev A (faster Internet access) and enable the GPS receiver. There is also an Windows Mobile 6.1 upgrade. What a world of difference.

This will void your warranty so be careful if you do this upgrade. Sprint is supposed to have an approved upgrade available sometime later this year if you can wait.
