My first name is Donavon and I own the domain donavon.com (sorry Donavon Frankenreiter). It wasn't hard to get, as I registered it way back in the day when the Internet was crawling out of the primordial ooze. Plus let's face it, there aren't too many Donavons out there.
Coincidently, I know two other people who have their first (or given name) as their domain.
molly.com - Molly E. Holzschlag is a well-known Web standards advocate, instructor, and author.
dori.com - Dori Smith is a long-time blogger and author of books on JavaScript, Dreamweaver, Mac OS X, and Java.
Hey, guess what? Dick.com is not owned by someone with that first name. 
Facebook Group
Are there any other (givenname).com's out there? As elite members of society (not unlike a first chair violinist) we must band together. That's why I've formed a Facebook group called (givenname).com.
To join this "invitation only" group, send me an email from your givenname domain. My email address is givenname@givenname.com where givenname = donavon (of course).
