Coming home from visiting my girlfriend’s parents in Long Island a few weeks ago, we stopped at a rest stop in New Jersey (notorious for the lowest gas prices in the country). It was there that I say these. Not one, not two, but five phone booths. I don’t know if they actually worked or not as I was too afraid to touch anything at a New Jersey rest stop.
I thought that phone booths had gone the way of the dodo.
