This is a cool gadget. In fact, it's the best countdown gadget I've ever seen, but I think it should be smart enough to know that, if I pick the Obama background, I don't want the ad banner at the bottom to EVER display the McCain ad. Seeing that ad displayed on my screen periodically is enough to make me remove this gadget from my system.

@KyleD
Thanks. We do nothing but write professional quality gadget for our clients.
I understand your concerns and your disdain for McCain, but use this emotion to make sure that you not only get out and vote on Nov 4, but talk to your friends and make sure they vote.
You can also volunteer at your local Obama headquarters or display the "Stop Voting" PDF poster. - KyleD said on October 16, 2008 at 11:58 PM ...

Thanks, but this isn't about my disdain for one candidate or the other. I'm saying that your gadget should check to see which background I've selected and, if I've picked the Obama background, it should be smart enough not to display the McCain ad banner. The goal here should be to target your banner ads at the right audience. Your advertisers would tell you the same thing: Don't bother showing my ad to my opponent's supporters. Show it to my supporters and undecided voters (those who picked the "Blue" or "Old Glory" backgrounds, for example).
And don't worry, I and ALL of my friends and family will vote on Nov. 4th. - AeroSquid said on December 10, 2008 at 5:20 PM ...

This is great, but most timers for the transition from Bush to Obama, are set for Noon on January 20th. This one is set for 12 a.m. (midnight), instead of 12 p.m. (noon). No big deal, but I was looking at it tonight and thinking I shouldn't get a sense of false security when it gets down to 00 because there will be twelve hours left and Bush could still do something dumb (like start Word War III).

Within the church he noticed his brother and his loved ones – all sitting within the entrance row, all dressed in extravagant Online HD Movies silks and furs and tender leather-based boots, while bad Jonek remained behind the church: a cold and hungry determine hiding within the shadows.
