Before I begin, let me preface this by saying that I live a mixed household (i.e. I am for Obama, my wife for Hillary) and fully expect to be sleeping on the couch for an indefinite period of time.

In his article, The Clinton Chorus, George Will wrote:

Women, or at least those whose consciousnesses have been properly raised, supposedly think that the impatience being expressed about the protracted futility of Hillary Clinton's campaign is disrespectful. They say that if the roles were reversed -- if Barack Obama's delegate arithmetic were as hopeless as hers -- people would not be so insensitive as to try to hurry a man off the stage.

In America, nothing ages as fast as novelty, and efforts to encourage Clinton to pack it in are heartening evidence that the novelty has worn off: The female candidate is like all other candidates. This is what equality looks like -- life as an equal opportunity dispenser of disappointments.

Today on Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski asked the question: is it time for Hilary Clinton pack it in and "take this loss like a man"?

The only reason that Mika Brzezinski thought she could get away with this question is because she is a women. Well shame on her. Morning Joe is the only show I can stomach on MSNBC and it's because of Joe Scarborough and the occasional appearance of Pat Buchanan - to be clear I disagree with their politics but at least they treat people with respect.

How about the fact that Hillary Clinton is still staying in the race because there is still the possibility that she could win the nomination (no matter how small the odds are). Perhaps the very biased news media could take a step back and also consider the fact that if Hillary Clinton were to quit now it would look like the media and the ruling class in this society – men – forced her out; which would result in enough backlash voting for John McCain to win him the Presidency against Senator Obama. Could it be that if Senator Clinton looses the Democratic nomination what she is doing will help Senator Obama get elected? Oh wait I forgot the media is biased, misogynist (that goes for your too Mika), and hates Senator Clinton too much for this to possibly reflect reality.

By the way Mika Brzezinski’s question this morning was the straw that broke the camels back for me – I’ve updated the parental control so that my TV will never be able to tune into MSNBC again. Bye Joe Scarborough – I will miss you. Pat Buchanan I will see you on The Mclaughlin Group.

Hold the phone! Your "wife" is for Hilary? When did Alyssa's title go from "fiance" to "wife"?
